A cozy night inside staying out of the downpour just outside my window 🙈😁 This is a salad I make nearly every other day - it's just a simple mix of arugula, creamy hummus, olives, pistachios, avocado, capers and a hard boiled egg, wrapped in a lemon tahini dressing 🙃 Also, I received a lot of questions about the sourdough bread recipe I made with my friend last week, so I did a mini tutorial for making the first part, which is the sourdough starter. It went from sunny and 75 degrees to rainy and 55 realll fast in SLO 😂 I'm heading out for a quick soup at Natural Cafe but if anyone is looking for a fast soup for tonight, this is one of my favorites. Blueberry smoothie with @ora.organic vanilla chai protein powder for a pre-run breakfast 😍 I made a huge smoothie and mixed half of it with chia pudding yesterday, and now here is the other half! There are definitely mornings when I sleep past the alarm or just don't have time for a leisurely breakfast so this is what I've been doing - making a double smoothie batch and then just saving half for the next day. Just add a few toppings and it's like new 😍 Do you guys have any morning tricks you do? ❤

Happy evening you guys! I bet you think this is a soup, no? 🤔 Welllll actually it's a curry-puree! I wanted a super speedy meal and didn't want to wait for a proper dinner. So I took some leftover vegetables, veggie broth and threw it all into my @vitamix with some curry powder 😍 So now it's a curry, ya?! 😜 Anyways, this one goes out to my curry addict friend Niki @rebelrecipes for her #rebelcurryclub party! Feeling so much better after doing this thing my friend told me about called a 'Thyme Spa' 😍 It's definitely not a spa but all you do is boil some water and pour it into a large bowl with fresh thyme leaves. Breathe in the the thyme aroma as it helps to decongest your sinuses! 🙌🏻 I had a huge sinus headache for the past two days and after I did it the headache subsided and I felt so, so much better! Love random tricks for kicking the flu 💃🏻💃🏻 I hope it works for anyone else who caught the bug 😬 Anyways, I'm having a yogurt/smoothie middday snack with the most beautiful bowl from @mmclay_ceramics 😍 I stopped by her studio yesterday and picked up a bunch of her gorgeous ceramics 🤗 Have a good evening you guys!

Feels so good to be outside for the first time in 5 days! 🙈 The flu this year just really took it out of me 😯 I'm still taking it a bit easy and instead of doing a lot of cooking, I'm just plopping a sweet potato into the oven to cook on its own, and then topping it off with a few extra veggies for a great meal 💩 Happy weekend you guys!
